The pre-release event of Maa Inti Bangaaram turned lively and personal as Samantha Ruth Prabhu spoke with warmth, humour, and confidence about her latest film, which is set to release in theatres on June 19. Right at the outset, Samantha slipped into an informal Telugu style and declared, “Ee cinema tho manam okkokkarni kodatam choodu!” (We will hit everyone with this film). She quickly clarified that she meant it with love. In local parlance, the phrase suggests that the film is expected to make a strong impact at the box office.
Samantha also opened up about the challenges of stepping into the producer’s role. “It has been stressful as a producer. When I was just an actor, it was a cool job,” she shared. The actress credited the film’s writing for helping her deliver a “naturalistic” performance, adding that the dialogues allowed the emotions to flow organically.
‘Extraordinary action’ in Maa Inti Bangaaram
The Family Man 2 actress also joked about one of the toughest aspects of the shoot. Acting in a sari throughout the film, she quipped, was much more difficult than many would imagine. At the same time, she praised the action sequences, calling them “extraordinary.” When fans urged her to speak about her husband Raj Nidimoru, Samantha highlighted his work ethic. According to her, Raj does not believe in luck but only in relentless hard work.

Raj Nidimoru, meanwhile, spoke emotionally about making a Telugu film. He said the experience felt different and deeply rewarding because of the affection shown by Telugu audiences. He added that working with Samantha came with an added responsibility. Raj described her as an “incredible actress” who constantly reveals new dimensions of her talent. Watching her bring out different shades of her performance during scenes, he said, was a special experience.Maa Inti Bangaaram is directed by BV Nandini Reddy.
