Several producers from Tollywood have been vying for the theatrical distribution rights of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming action extravaganza WAR 2 for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. But the negotiations weren’t successful for a long time. In fact, at one point of time, Yash Raj Films (YRF) even considered releasing the film on their own in the Telugu speaking states. Expectations on War 2 are huge
The deal between the YRF and Naga Vamsi regarding War 2 was sealed recently. Vamsi, who earlier bagged the theatrical rights of Jr NTR’s last film, Devara, is confident that the Ayan Mukerji's directorial will strike a chord with the audiences. Fans of NTR too are happy that Vamsi who has the ability to get a wide release for the film will do justice in terms of promotions. Considering War 2 is Jr NTR’s debut film in Hindi and Hrithik Roshan’s stardom in the country, the expectations on the film are huge in the Telugu speaking states. Given Jr NTR’s success streak in recent times coupled with his Pan-India appeal, the film is expected to open on a huge note. The film is slated to release on August 14, 2025.Jr NTR

Meanwhile, the much talked about dance number of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan went on floors on Tuesday afternoon at YRF studio in Mumbai. Bosco Martis is choreographing the high-energy dance number composed by Pritam. According to sources, the song also features more than 500 dancers in a grand set that was specially built for the song.
