Saif Ali Khan Reveals Taimur Is Shy About Saying Dialogues In Front Of People

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, has a fanbase of his own. The starkid is definitely a paparazzi favourite. However, despite coming from an affluent film family, Taimur is in no mood to get into the field of acting. During an interaction with Jaideep Ahlawat for their film Jewel Thief: The Heist Begins, Saif spoke about his son and said that Taimur feels shy about saying dialogues in front of people.

The actor shared, "Taimur is doing a school play, and he said, ‘Mujhe bahut darr lagta hai, Abba, logo ke saamne. Maine bola mujhe dialogues nahi bolne hain (I get scared in front of people, Dad. I said I don’t want to recite any dialogues).’ And somebody said, ‘You are so great. You speak so many lines. I don’t know how you learned these lines.'"

Saif also shared that Taimur is used to his parents' stardom. He continued, "I hope he realises that we are quite down-to-earth and normal. It’s a lovely job and that you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously. My father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) was a star, and my mother (Sharmila Tagore) is a star, but they were quite normal and strict at home. That’s an important thing."

Meanwhile, it was revealed some time back that when Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an intruder in his residence, it was Taimur who played a pivotal role in rushing his father to the hospital. Kareena Kapoor, who was present at the scene, instructed that Saif be taken to the hospital immediately. It was at that moment that Taimur insisted on accompanying his father, reportedly telling the family, “I will go with Papa."

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan tied the knot in 2012 and welcomed their firstborn, Taimur Ali Khan, in 2016. Their second son, Jehangir Ali Khan, was born in 2021. Both kids never shy away from appearing in front of the shutterbugs with their superstar parents.
