The casting merry-go-round for Allu Arjun’s next film tentatively titled AA22XA6 seems to be on for a while now. While we have earlier reported that three top actresses would be part of the film, the hunt for the leading ladies has been an ongoing one. According to sources, filmmakers have cast Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur as the leading ladies. Well, this does make for a deadly combo! Allu Arjun’s next is a high-budget extravaganza, and the makers of the film have been insisting on having top names from Indian cinema. Janhvi and Mrunal have reportedly been confirmed.
Atlee completed the casting for primary female lead characters. And sources say that the director has already done a look test on Mrunal Thakur, and locked her for the role. This could be the film’s first pair in the film, and the makers may announce the development shortly. And in another major casting development, Janhvi Kapoor is the latest to join the film. As a matter of fact, it was Janhvi’s name that first cropped up but the buzz about her died down as there were no developments. But fresh reports state that Janhvi is also part of the film, but her look test is yet to be done. If all goes well, Allu Arjun’s film would be Janhvi’s third Telugu film after Devara and Peddi. However, it is unsure whether the names of the leading ladies would be announced formally.
The makers of the film are on the verge of finalising another leading lady for a prominent role. Foreign actors are also speculated to be part of the film given its scale and magnitude. According to Allu Arjun, the film will have an international presentation with strong Indian sensibilities. The actor will undergo body transformation under coach Lloyd Stevens for his part. Kalanithi Maran is bankrolling the action extravaganza.
