The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has made Bollywood fans happy once again. The Academy’s social media page has shared yet another memorable scene from a Hindi film, this time from Ayan Mukerji’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Released in 2013, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin in key roles. It remains one of Ayan Mukerji’s most celebrated films and continues to enjoy a strong following more than a decade after its release.
The scene shared by the Academy features Ranbir and Deepika’s characters, Bunny and Naina, as they talk about cherishing the present instead of constantly chasing what comes next. It is the memorable moment where Naina tells Bunny, “Jitna bhi try karo Bunny life mein kuch na kuch toh chootega hi. Toh kyu na jahan hai, wahin ka maza lete haina (No matter how hard you try Bunny, there will always be something you will miss out on. So why not enjoy wherever we are).”
Sharing the scene, the Academy wrote, “A reminder from Naina to enjoy what’s right in front of you.”

Indian fans were delighted to see the Academy spotlight the popular Hindi film and flocked to the comments section to share their reactions. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani follows Bunny, Naina and their friends as they navigate friendship, love, ambition and the choices that shape their lives. The film, which became a major box-office success upon release, has since developed a cult following, with its dialogues, songs and characters continuing to remain popular among audiences.
