Salman Khan Reveals He Has Never Read a Script in His Career: Ive Written Them Never Read Them

Salman Khan has recently made a revelation about his process of selecting films that he wants to be a part of. While most actors speak of choosing films based on the script, director and team, Salman shared his take, which is the complete opposite. During a recent interview with Variety India, Salman revealed that he has never read a script in his career so far.

Opening up about his process, Salman said, "I've never read a script in my entire life. I've written them, but I've never read them.” In the past, Salman had suggested that he prefers gauging a film through its overall vibe, treatment and commercial potential instead of reading the script in its entirety.

Moreover, in the video interview, Salman also opened up on the social media speculations about his fancy watches. For those unaware, the superstar is seen wearing different watches at high-profile events. His fans and well-wishers are quick to learn about the watch, its brand and its specifications every time he is seen wearing one. While speaking of the same, he said, "You see me wearing watches that don’t mean the watches are mine. It is this friend and that friend’s watch..."

On the professional front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar in 2025. He will be seen in Maatrubhumi next, opposite Chitrangda Singh. The film was previously titled Battle of Galwan. The release date for the movie hasn't been announced. However, Salman has also recently opened up about working on another film. He is collaborating with director Vamshi Paidipally on SVC63. The movie will also star Nayanthara. The actor was seen in a cameo role as Jiva Mahala in Raja Shivaji. The movie starred Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh in leading roles. Apart from that, he is seen making appearances, with the most recent being at Juhu.
